Ok... today I tried to install some software on my laptop and I had a very nice surprise: I didnt had enough space on "root" partitions. True, I only allocated 10Gb for "root" and I installed all my programs there! So what to do?
I took one of my Linux Live CDs and I booted up.
Open Gparted
Turned swap off
Shrink one of partitions to obtain some unallocated space, in my case, I shrunk "/home" partitions with 10Gb.
Resize the "/" partition whit 10 Gb.
And some screenshots, I didnt finished the process but its very simple. Also I must say that I indicate to create some backups of your data bedore doing this operations (I didnt do and I hope I didnt lose any datas).
